Dr. McElroy is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon that completed his training at Marshall University, and his Internship/Residency at Mt. Carmel Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio where he served as Chief Resident for one year.

He is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and West Virginia State Medical Society. He has been an established physician in the Mid-Ohio Valley since 2002.
